Here is the latest on what's been going on in Fusion in the browser.

Videos

We have a couple of nice workflow videos, which are worth checking out:

There have been over 150 issues addressed in the last few weeks. Some new features and workflows, and many fixes. You might have already seen some of them, but here are the highlights in case you missed them. The rest, not listed here, have been mainly just making stuff work as it should.

New Features and Workflow additions

Sketch Projections and Intersections now supported
New slot types added: Overall, and Center to Point
Creating a new design from within the design now possible using File>New Design
Values entered into a command dialog will now update without hitting enter
Floating value fields are now focussed by default
More shortcuts keys added - more to come
Cylinder and Box now have a default extrusion value
Dialog positions are remembered, and by default appear on the right of the browser
New “Find in Window” option in component browser context menu

Workflow changes

Suppress will now properly suppress dependent features in the timeline
Features are no longer editable when suppressed
Delete is now undoable and much more robust
Connections lost for up to 5 minutes will no longer disconnect
Handles should now appear on the correct component instance
Perpendicular constraints now preferred when drawing instead of horizontal + vertical
Parallel now default type for sweep
Reordering features in the timeline are blocked from entering an invalid state
You can now delete a constraint from the viewport context menu
We have reduced the creation of unnecessary constraints while drawing sketch elements
When drawing sketch elements, the grid will now extend with the mouse
Rolling over features and sketches in the timeline highlight their counterparts now

General fixes you need to know about

Through All now working for Hole feature
Sketch dimension positions are now remembered properly
Constraints no longer go crazy when added to an end point of an arc
Thread input field now updates correctly
Adjacent bodies now properly detect if they need to join by default
Sketch visibility settings are persisted on reload
Slot now works when starting from another vertex
Body names now match Fusion

Just made a test part using Fusion in Browser.

Comments:

Nice clean interface. Easy to use rotation and zoom.

Everything worked except for one bug in an extrusion parameter dialog box. It worked the next time I tried it.

I am looking forward to all Fusion 360 features being available in the browser as this would be my favorite way to work. The reason I feel this way is that I work with many people in a day and I would like to just bring up a model on their computer and start working without hauling my laptop from conference room to conference room. I would love to leave my own computer behind and maybe not even bring it with me on the plane.

Nice videos too! Very useful.
