I tried using the trick where you drag a sketch into a component if you forgot to create one when you start designing a part. It looks like it works until you try adding another flange then Fusion crashes.

Edit I see where I went wrong, I used the right click on the main component to create a new component not the New Component from the toolbar in the sheetmetal workspace.

I'll attach a screencast later, it looks like the outage that's taken Fusion offline is affecting screencast uploads as well.

Hi Mark,

Trying to reproduce the issue, but I dont see the crash. Would be good if you can add a screencast.

One thing to note - if you create a regular (non-Sheetmetal) component by clicking on NewComponent command in the right click of a component in the browser, it does create a regular component. If you however add a sheetmetal flange feature to it, it is automatically converted to a sheetmetal component.

Hi @keqingsong Did the April 12 update get pushed back?

Also how did you end up with minus 17 ideas, do they take points away if it's a bad idea?
