&lt;P&gt;The reason why you&amp;nbsp;are seeing the ---, could be due to the following;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- It isn't relevant to the feature/operation/setup (a tag may only be relevant to a surface milling feature)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- The tag has been placed in the setup sheet, outside of a loop (such as operation loop)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As a starting point, you can only use {operation.z_start} and {operation.z_end} for operations where this is set in the milling tab (mainly surface machining features). As a alternative, you could use {operation.depth} or something similar.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
