The program is generated with unnecessary waiting marks and i would like to remove some and rearrange others. Im with a difficult to understand how the software pulls the wait marks.

Best regards!

Hello guys!

First, sorry for do a question about Partmaker, but i believe that you can help me.

I'm from one of the only companies in Brazil that utilize the Partmaker and i would like to know more about how to do changes in post processor. My question is about the syncronism of paths 1, 2 and 3 in Biglia B436Y2 at the moment of catch part using a sub spindle. We are really layman in programation languages and need understand when the post processor add one "wait mark", so i can change them to where i need, couse today them are in the wrong place in the program.

Attached, i show how our post processor add "wait marks" through "Procedure 26-que" and witch the marked line in program NC screen i click to open the Config Post.

Hello william_antonelli

Procedure 26 is set up to output the sync codes as needed. The variable <v005-Wait> will be set right before the procedure is called. Setting <v005-Wait> to 12 will output syncs to channel 1 and 2, setting 23 will output to channel 2 and 3 and so on.

To set a variable use the ~ character.

This line sets the variable to 123.

~<v005-Wait>123<eob>

Let us know if this helps.

Hello william_antonelli

Yes, you can change where the sync codes are but be very careful. 90% of our sync codes come out from the same spot in the post. This minimizes any error of the sync codes getting out of sync. In the case of this post you would look to move the variable setting and the Procedure call.

The harder ones to deal with are usually in M2 and S2 modes when pinch turning.

Sync codes typically happen when the Mode changes, or a Tool post changes in the same mode.

The first thing though to do is make sure you don't have any errors at the process table. Any error is a potential to have sync codes come out wrong.

Can you give me an example of the unnecessary sync codes?
