I always hated the "in computer" or "in control" definitions as they can be misunderstood.

In FC the following is implied:

1: No compensation at all: Uncheck "Finish cutter comp" and "Rough cutter comp"

2: Centerline program with wear compensation: Check "Finish cutter comp" and "Rough cutter comp"

I guess that would be equivalent to the " in computer " in that other thing.

3: Full diameter compensation: check both, "cutter comp" and "partline program"

This would be the actual print dimension program. ( in-control equivalent I guess )

Hi

I come from Fusion there we have compensation types: in computer, in control etc.. in other word how the software generates the path based on center line approach or based on actual dimension on drawing. so how that it works on FeatureCAM? I heard about something called Part line program?

If I make a milling program in FeatureCAM so what is the default program is it by centerline or actual dimensions?

Thanks,
