Hey folks,

Can anyone show me how to fill in a surface that I don't want the tool to go into on say a Z-Level or Parallel roughing op? I've used Untrim Surfaces to fill holes but how would I patch a surface over a deep slot or channel that I want the tool to avoid. I don't have an example right now but I can provide one to make the explanation easier.

Thanks

Hi @ncassou

I took some time to create for you a short video on a couple of surfacing tools I use from time to time in FeatureCAM.

Take a watch here..... https://autode.sk/3phEyI3

Alternatively, if you are paying a subscription to renew FeatureCAM each year, you can access Fusion 360 which has more robust surfacing and solid modelling options.

Hope the video helps you out.
