Hey Chip! It's been a while! I hope all is well on your end!

If you're now working through a reseller, you might honestly consider reaching out to them directly. They should be able to get this issue hammered out quickly. You might also consider just submitting a support ticket in your ADSK account to work directly with the ADSK post team.

In general, the best way to expedite any post support is to supply the following:

The post-processor in question

The FC file in question

The specific section of code that is currently being output

The desired code outcome for that section

Hopefully, that is helpful. Sorry I can't answer your main question. Please let me know if I can help answer anything else, or at the very least, get you pointed in the right direction on something.

When simulating, FC places a comment in the nc file on two lines. The first line has no closing parentheses and the second line has none at the beginning of the line.

this produces an error at my mill control forcing me to edit out the comment.

This is right below "Note 2:"

2019 Haas VF4SS

I've had the parentheses to be spaced very far apart before in my posts as well, and that's caused an error on the machine. I haven't looked into my PP to see what the issue may be, but it doesn't happen all the time. Curious as well to see why the long space between open and close parentheses in NC posts.

At which part of the file is the comment?

Beginning?

End?

Toolchange?

Segment start?

Need a bit more info, perhaps a snippet from the code as-posted,

and then from the post in the offending area...
