Welcome to Autodesk community.

There are some generic post processor files available within the FeatureCAM installation folder.

(C:\Program Files\Autodesk\FeatureCAM 2019\Posts).

If you cannot find a suitable post processor file in there, I would recommend you to create a support case so that a technical support specialist can have a look.
To create a support case follow this link or create a support ticket from your Autodesk account.

I have been looking around the forums and have seen references to similar machines using a fanuc controller i am a little confused is a controller different from a post processor? and if so what does a controller do. any help/ information would be very much appreciated.

Hi,

A controller will be what reads the Gcode and drives the machine, a post processor is what generate the Gcode from the cam software.

Thanks for the clarification, would you happen to know where i can find out which post file i should use, if there is a database or something along those lines? or should i contact the manufacturer of the machine. In any case i very much appreciate the help.
