&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I can agree you can't use custom tools for threadmilling. You can cheat with make a threadmilling with the tool there are in the crib, then convert this to toolpath, and add the custom tool you have.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can take a look in this video to see how I have made it.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Single point thread mill</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;This is a two part question. First, Why isn't there a field to add a custom curve tool for thread mills? Second, Why can't I get this correct? It's a metric single point thread mill for doing M4 x .7 threads. &lt;P&gt;The are some mismacth in your tool, 1. You try to create a pitch there are bigger in yours shank &amp;amp; body diameter, then you get the strange cone.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;See my link for a quick creation of a thread tool.&lt;/P&gt;
