So I have a tool library set up consisting of all my tools. I have a job that requires relief to certain tools in order to reach where they need. How do I create a tool with relief but keep it local to the file im currently working on without affecting my library?

In 2018, navigate to FeatureCAM options (either by clicking the 'cog' icon in the top left corner of the window, or by navigating to the 'Home' tab on the ribbon > Options > Edit) expand the 'File' section > Existing Files > Check the 'Use the Tool Crib Saved with the Part Document' > OK.

If you would like this to remain the default option when starting FeatureCAM each time, navigate to the Options section of the 'Home' tab again, and click 'Save Now'.

If this still affects the tool crib, you can manually remove tools from the Tool Manager, found in the 'Features and Manufacturing' tab.

If this a suitable solution, please click 'Accept as Solution'.
