Well if you can't get the update we should still be able to help you.

I have spoken to our post dept. and they believe like i do that the best path to resolution is the upgrade to 2018.

If that is off the table please let me know and i will see what we can do for you.

You should be able to make a copy of the post and we can show you where in the post you will need to edit the CSS function.

However that means that you will be working with a static copy of the post and any changes made to that post will be the sole responsibility of your company. It also means that any changes made to the licensed post on our end you will not see as your post is a Non-Distributed copy.

Partmaker Post Processor

I am using PartMaker 2016. I have a post for a Nomura NN-16SB6 Swiss Lathe.

how do I get post processor help through Autodesk? or, Is there a post processor available for download.

the only problem I am having is the CSS codes out in (4) digits. Example 350CSS = 3500.

If someone knows how to change this, it would be greatly appreciated. It's probably an easy fix, I just don't know how.

garspi64

Hi Sidney,

Supporting a post processor for 2016 Partmaker is problematic at best.

I would recommend updating your product to the latest version of Partmaker.

Our newer posts will not run in 2016 so it would be difficult to continue to support the post if future edits are needed.

Also we have changed our licensing scheme from the dongle/paf to a serial number.

That means your 2016 version of partmaker will run but you will not have post access if you needed to download the latest posts.

ok, thanks for the response. I am checking into possibly upgrading to 2018. but we have several people in the corporation that use PartMaker.. I am the only one who has these machine post, and some are not yet proven out. Hopefully they will allow me to upgrade.

thanks

Gary
