Can't sign in 1.0.15.10

Hello,

after updating to the latest version 1.0.15.10 I'm unable to sign in within the application anymore. I've checked my clock and it seems good. I can sign in directly into my A360 account and see the files and projects I've created with the previous build.

I'd really like to continue to work with memento but I'm unable to do so at the moment.

We've received other reports of Autodesk Account sign-in issues, and the following workaround might help you.

Try clearing your Autodesk Account cache by deleting the contents of your "%localappdata%\Autodesk\Web Services" folder (for example "C:\Users\chuaeu\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services").

This is just a cache, but I would recommend backing up its contents (e.g by moving them to another folder) before clearing it out.

Warning: You will have to sign-in to any other Autodesk applications on your system again. If you haven't signed-in a while, do verify that your username/password are what you remember them to be.

that did the trick. Thanks a lot!

I didn't have to delete the entire folder though. In that folder, there's a file called "LoginState.xml" which presumably stores the loginstate of autodesk services, such as memento. In my case, to fix my memento sign in issue, it was enough to delete the memento product entry from that xml, save the xml and open memento again. It prompted me to sign in and everything was alright!

I just downloaded a trial of ReMake and it will not recognize my login - seems like an ongoing issue. Here is the code generated from a fresh LoginState.xml

I don't know if that means anything in relation to this issue but thought I would share. I saved a copy of the original LoginState.xml and deleted the directory versions code that talked about "ReMake" per the comment on this thread. Didn't help.

Thoughts?

Hi topa3d,

Based on the logs you attached, it seems that ReMake is unable to restore a login from a previous session.

Could you try the following steps to see if it helps you out?

Quit ReMake; also make sure there are no orphaned "remake.exe" processes using Task Manager > Processes/Details.
If you have the Autodesk Desktop App installed, open it and Sign Out of your Autodesk account, and terminate it by selecting Exit from its right-click context menu in the taskbar's notification/system-tray area.
Rename your Web Services folder to create a backup, for example "Web Services Backup"
- The WebServices folder can be found in the %localappdata%\Autodesk\ folder.
Start ReMake and try logging in again.

Same issue.

I started another thread, not knowing this one already existed.

I sign into ReMake but My Cloud Drive continues to show 'sign in to view your projects' and if I try to use the online option to create something it tells me that I must sign into my Autodesk account first although I AM signed in.

Deleting the contents of that folder has made no difference.

Thanks for the idea but unfortunately, it didn't work. I ended all tasks in my Task Manager that were related to Autodesk, signed out of everything Autodesk-based, Renamed the Web Services folder to "Web Services-backup", launched ReMake again, signed in, and received the same problem saying, "Please sign into your Autodesk Account."

A new Web Services folder was created when I launched ReMake and I've attached the event files here...

Thoughts??

I cannot post the "EventTrigger.tmp" file for some reason. Not sure if you need it though. Sorry for all the posts - just trying to get you what you need for troubleshooting!

Try zipping the ones that won't upload. Alternatively, you can change the extensions to tst and add a note in the post that the recipient will need to change them back to whatever the original extensions were.

This is what I get after trying your suggestion. I'm signed in, but ReMake still tells me that I have to sign in and I cannot make another mesh on this PC or access the one I made on another PC, because it thinks I'm not signed in.

One thing I have noticed, and I don't know if it's relevant, but I am currently signed into Civil 3d and ReMake and 360 using my Autodesk account.
Civil 3d puts me as albionpjl which is my user name, but ReMake shows me as PJ Lightning. Shouldn't it be using my user name? I've signed out and signed back in and I am DEFINITELY signed into Autodesk.

I have the same conflicting sign in issue with Revit and ReCap/ReMake - Revit shows my user name as "topa3d" and the others show my actual name... Seems the cloud-based accounts are retrieving different aspects of our Autodesk accounts?

I just discovered that ReCap Pro is already installed on this PC as part of an older C3d installation.

Lo and behold - same issue (or very similar.)

It too uses my name instead of my username. I'm signed in, but the program cannot read my 360 storage at all. I tried copying the files across to my C drive but it told me that they had to be opened on the browser.

I have ReCap Pro but can only use the ReCap that's in the browser.

HELLOOO Autodesk techs!! Are you still there? You've gone very quiet. Hello?
I may not be a subscriber personally, but the company I work for pays a LOT of money every year for Civil 3d, and that purchase did include ReCap a couple of years ago. I didn't know what it was so hadn't used it until now.

Could we possibly have some customer service now please?
