Hi @thelangley,

rather than thickening the walls you may want to have an infill (or increasing infill density). Remake has infill option available only for Autodesk Ember printer.

Cheers,

V.

Hi there, kinda new to remake and autodesk products. Loving remake to scan real world things for printing, but wondering if there is a way to thicken up the walls of the models for printing? Right now they are thin and unless I give the prints a high infill, they are not very solid. Is that something that can be done in ReMake or is that more of a Fusion feature or something else?

Thanks!

I thought it might be something I'd do in my slicing app (Simplify3D) but their forums seemed to think it was something that should be done in the modeling app.

As you can see in the ReMake screenshot, the model is hollow. I just want to make it less hollow.. with a thicker wall. Maybe I'm not using the right terminology. Not sure how else to describe it. See screenshots.

Thanks

Hi @thelangley,

i got the point, but i do not understand why you need to thicken the walls to have that model printed out. Also, you can use Remake also for 3D printing, without the need to process your mesh in a different software.

V.
