Unable to export model due to error

Hi all, I often get errors when trying to export to .obj. Export process runs then stops with the message "unable to export model due to error". Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi,

It usually means Memento ran out of system RAM. How big is the model & what is the system spec? If you can, share the model with us to check.

I have a similar issue with a 12M poly model. Exporting to FBX throws up the error message instantly, OBJ just creates a 23 bytes long .OBJ file. Same happens when I delete half the mesh, although other 6M meshes export just fine. When the model is loaded memento.exe uses 485MB memory leaving ~2.4 Gb free. I'm on windows 7 64bit. The rcm file is 652Mb.

Hi,

For handling 12 million polygon mesh I recommend a machine with minimum specs as outline here: http://memento.autodesk.com/try-memento

Meanwhile, if you want to see the results of the export, share the RCM with me and your preferred export options, I will send you back the exported file.

I use new version 1.5.0.30 same error message.

and can't export object.

windows7 64bit
