Memento Window not Appearing

I have just installed the latest version of Memento on Windows 10 and when I execute the program, an icon appears in the bottom taskbar as if the program is open, but the window does not open on my screen. There is no ability to maximize the window so that I can operate the software. I have tried uninstalling and installing again, but this does not do anything.

Hello,

Once you double click on Memento desktop icon, can you please check if memento.exe is running in the task manager ?

Also, did you try restarting the machine ?

I assume you are using Memento version 1.4.0.1 and have installed DirectX that accompanies the Memento installer.

Yes, the .exe is running in task manager and I can even see the thumbnail
of my personal interface (with models loaded). I am just unable to expand
the window. I downloaded today, so this is the latest version and I also
installed the accompanying DirectX. I've also tried restarting my system.

Hi,

Please try the following and check if Memento works fine:

1. Close Memento application.

2. Open registry (Run - > regedit) and browse to the following location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\Autodesk Memento\General

3. Delete keys : 'Pos' and 'Size'

4. Launch Memento application.

Good!

The application somehow creeped out of the screen! It was running but outside the monitors view.

By deleting the two registry entries, we reset the Memento applications' screen location and hence its back to its usual self.

Do let us know in case of any issues and enjoy Memento!
