You contour selection is the wrong side of the line for what you want. We do our best guess but sometimes get it wrong. Just click the arrow to change the side of the line we cut.

Chamfer command cutting a V groove?

Hello Form,

I need help with a very simple chamfer I want to cut on two edges of a flat plate. When I simulate the operation the model looks like the chamfer tool is cutting a groove along the edge not knocking the corner off, like I want? No idea why its not working. I even tried copy and pasting a chamfer op from another part that I know works. Same thing on

this new part. I am missing some setting. Thank you.

Thanks! I knew I was doing something wrong because the operation had worked on other parts I made recently. I appreciate your help! Jgaertner
