topic Mach3 doing something different from f360 simulation on ellipse in Fusion Manufacture

Hi, I've been trying to make a ellipse shape bread board. I've drawn it in f360 - simple sketch, 2 ellipses. extrude the outside one, the inside one being for the groove. Then in manufacture I do a project for the groove - this is fine. For the outside I just do a 2d contour for a 10mm straight bit. This looks fine and runs fine on the simulation. However when I open the file in mach3 i can see a couple of circles in the board so it cuts the outline and also cuts in the 2semi circles. Unfortunately I didn't see this until i'd actually cut it out.

Is there a bug that anyone is aware of? Should I be aiming this question on a mach3 forum? I have tried in manufacture to delete the contour and redo - same issue. I've then done a drawing from scratch and i'm still getting the same issue. It's not the lead in - this is outside the contour and in a different position. The 2 holes are just below centre on the ellipse and symmetrical in position - any help much appreciated

try to disable lead-in and lead-out arcs in linking tab (set them 0 or better uncheck all lead params)

or uncheck smoothing

then look, how it works now in mach3

also mach3 have a simulate pass function in 3rd tab from left

if issue remains then try to adjust arc parametrs in postprocessor dialog

try to change : radius arcs, allow helical moves, maximum circ radius, minimum circ radius

if it not works you can check end edit your toolpath with cimco edit or similiar cnc editor

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I've given that a try, but still to no avail. I've attached a pic to show what was actually cut out, not sure if this helps? The holes are much larger than the lead in/out on the left

Thanks jonny, smoothing was not ticked - i ticked and changed to 0.0001 and all looks like it will work now - i'm going to go and try now

looks like that there is a g41 g42 radius comp in your code

maybe problem in it

attache fusion file

look on it later
