This is not possible in current Fusion functionality. You "may" be able to get this accomplished in some of the multi-axis options, but it's doubtful you can constrain it enough to post out for a 4 axis machine

Simultaneous multi-axis is one of the weak points of the milling in Fusion. It can do 3+1 and 3+2 all day long, just limited in other areas...

I am trying to machine a rectangular trough in a slight spiral on a 4th axis. The trough sits below the 4th axis centre of rotation (face I want to machine is Z-) If I use "wrap toolpath" the path generates perfectly but on the opposite side of the face (tool Z+). If I mirror the tool orientation it would be perfect. Is there a way to do this?

@ash_wareing

Are you using the bottom of the pocket radius for the "wrap" or are you using the outside radius, if using the outside radius and an offset for the depth then it does appear to do the toolpath from below.

Select the bottom of the pocket for the depth and also select the radius in the bottom of the pocket as your "wrap", seems to work here, attached is a small example that works OK here so have a look and compare it against what you have.

If it isn`t of use to you then export your Fusion file to your PC and attach it to your reply and someone can have a look at it for you.

If you like your original one side tool path, I think you want to do circular pattern.

Right click on original operation, select "Add to New Pattern", select 2 instances in your case.

I can't post the actual part but I can post something similar I played with to see if it was possible. The area of the part I'm trying to machine is practically the inside of a tube. If you take the picture you have posted there @VicKosta, and basically flip the plunge lines to the inside of the part that's what I want to do. But it is just one face. As the floor is flat in cross section I can't use it as an axis for the wrap. I have tried using the inside of the path i made the "spiral" with but to no avail I can program it easily with the conversational on the machine but I won't be back near the machine until Tuesday and of like to get the quote off Monday (also there's no doubting fusion will be faster). The whole path looks perfect it's just machining it on the outside surface of the face and I want it on the inside surface.

Thanks again for your time.

Setting it as a wrap part with the WCS dead center end and having a full round section to get the wrap selection from (this is on the correct side but wrong) and not having a full round part for the selection (this way makes the wrap go the wrong side of the part).

I'm stuck with the same issue. Very odd, seems if you wanted to wrap a toolpath off anything, the control of which way to wrap it should be in the users hand.
