Patch. Go into the Patch workspace. Select Patch. Select the mouth of the hole. If all goes well, you will get a cover to the feature. Go back into your operation. On the Model section (geometry tab) select the patch as well as the model

I have a parallel tool path that I want to continue over a hole in my drawing. In reality the hole will have been filled in and I want it machined level with its surrounding area.

See attached image.

I see a Contact Checkbox on the Geometry Tab of the Parallel tool path Edit Dialog Box. I have unchecked it but it has made no difference to the generated tool path.

I think I am missing something...

Thanks, that's worked.

I really appreciate the swift response.

Lyndon

Quite welcome.

I'm of the firm opinion that the relatively straightforward questions should receive very quick responses. You know, the ones that go "...I know I'm missing something". That typically indicates that they are starting to bang their head against a desk, and that's just no good for anybody
