However, we would love to make some long term goals of delivering a more positive experience to our users, one that would include some concept of material-based speeds and feeds. Again, long term and certainly not anything to deliver in the foreseeable future

Hello,

Is there a way to set the cutting data for the entire tool selection in the CAM via a material assignment?

For example, if I process VA and select a machining that automatically VA is selected in the cutting data. If I now change the component to aluminum, the values should change accordingly.

Assuming, of course, that my database exists.

greeting

Tobias

Hi

This is not currently possible to do in Fusion

The closest you can get is that for any toolpaths using the same tool, you can select all of them, Right click and select "Compare and Edit"

Then search "Feed Speed Preset" and select a new preset form the tool
