Hmm. Actually, using some sketches to give us a sense of scale and reference, I'm not finding it to be incorrect. Here is your toolpath with a "First Pass" depth of .0042. As you can see in the attached image, it's only just a smidge past the .004" hash mark:

Repeating this rather simple test with different values (from .001 to .005") does place the toolpath right on the corresponding hash mark.

Hi everyone,

I have issue with the ID thread; the 1st pass od threading, it cuts too deep. Anyone has same issue as mine and how to fix it (don't want manually to fix the thread cycle on every time of threading).

I cannot share the file in here but only the picture of threading's parameter.

Thanks for help.

H.P

Hmm. I know you'd prefer not to share the file, but this is unexpected behavior, seeing as you've specified a "First Pass Thread Depth" which doesn't appear to be observed. Could you replicate the issue in a sample file you could share, or share the file privately with me?
Would you be able to share your Fusion file privately?

File > Export > Save to local folder, and email it to me: seth DOT madore AT autodesk DOT com
Please reference this thread so I understand the context

I'm not following. Using your file along with the "ruler/scale" by way of a sketch, I'm seeing that your First Pass Depth is where it needs to be. What exactly are you seeing?

I do set all the parameter on the tapping cycle are same as every single one I do. I don't know why it is weird looking at this time after I upgrade to new version of fusion 360.

I appreciate for any help.

Hi, could there be a possibility that the plane of your section analysis is not exactly parallel to the thread representation?

Please take a look at my attached pic, I rotated the section analysis slightly and now the first cut looks very deep.
