Yes there is a tool offset page. I have tried all the settings and have found the "Tangent" setting to be the one that is closest to what I need, but still need to input the nose radius into the "Stock to Leave" window in order to generate the correct size. I am using the computer for the offset though.

I am working with a Proto Trak Lathe with the newer RLX Software. I am having trouble with the finish dimensions of my projects. Through trial and error I have found that adding the insert radius to the "Stock to Leave" tab seems to work. My question is: Can I change this in the Post? My worry is that I will miss doing that and scrap a part.

Thank You for your help!

Joe

It sounds to me that there's possibly something else going on. Do you have a Tool Offset page where you input the tool nose radius? Are you using Computer or Control compensations?
