Okay, those radii options you speak of are NOT possible in Fusion (being a former Esprit user, I miss that option).

Regarding the G1's, I'm betting it's some toolpath settings. Can you share a sample file that demonstrates this?

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d file in your reply

Is there a way in the manufacture side to round all corners with, say, a .008” or .2mm edge break, in just the tool path?

very new to Fusion 360 as a CAM system, and so far, not a fan of its limitations.

Have you tried the new Deburr toolpath?

And, what limitations are you running into (this isn't a loaded question, I'm aware of many that effect me), just curious what your pain points are..

I have not tried/seen that deburr option. Not exactly what I am looking for, think of machining outside of a box, and rounding all those outside corners while running the endmill around it, without modifying the model. Or, turning, just run a simple .005 or .010 radius on all outside corners.
Currently trying to do that on a hex, on a mill turn, and not having any luck.

As for limitations, I seem to not be able to get the tool paths I am looking for. Instead of simple g2/g3, i am getting g1 lines. Yet, in the rough pass, it does give circular interpolation. Yesterday, I couldn’t get system to “chain” and outside profile for milling. Ended up using trig and a calculator to figure out intersect points and add that in manually. Models with edge breaks, versus models without, I am always fat fingering the numbers the cam comes up with.

Again, new to F360, and not impressed at all. Seriously considering buying my boss BobCam.

When I get back to the computer, I will. It may be a few days.

i honestly can’t believe that isn’t available. Mind blowing. I am over here hand adding edge breaks on lathe programs, because if I add corner radii on the model, in this case, it changes other aspects I don’t want/can’t change.

You could also make a sketch with the fillets, or a Manufacturing Model that contains the fillets.

That said; I'm no understanding how adding a fillet to the model changes anything other than that edge feature. And for clarity; I use Fusion to program my two mills and my twin-spindle Doosan Lynx

Just blending of tools at this point. I did it by hand.

i am used to other systems, but changed jobs two months ago, and this is what they bought, and dumped camworks, for some odd reason. I walked in to post processors that spit out code that would alarm out the lathe, and mill posts that work, sort of. I am slowly fixing those to be better (stuff like g73 drill cycle). It’s tough right now, as everything requires a learning curve.

It’s a combination of things. Just the formatting itself in that Fanuc post, although not “wrong” is in no way user friendly out of the box. Sure, I can peck drill, stay in hole, and just G1/G0/G1 to the bottom, and be done. It does work. But why not use G73 in the post? You are already using the G8x codes for other drill cycles?

The software, although evolving, is very basic, it seems. Half the stuff I need to do, can be done easily on its own with FeatureCam(to keep in AutoDesk sphere), including the simplicity of modifying posts, but is a 29 step process in Fusion360. Sure, FC is priced higher, but ****, I was auto rounding corners in Gibbs over 20 years ago.

I will give it a go for another week or two, but I don’t see us getting married. The company already had Inventor, so I am guessing they have a real reseller available to talk with. That’s my next step.
