Well, I am sure there are right times to use mirror but I wouldn't wanna go into why it works the way it does,... just saying there is an option that retains all settings if you do circular pattern, so being aware of "bug or not" .... do what works is my option.

Am I doing something wrong, as I created a body with tapped and modelled threads (to be printed). When I mirror the body to create the opposite hand geometry the threads change from RH to LH, which is NOT what I want, and I really doubt anyone wants the opposite hand part to ever have reversed thread directions. Is this really a bug? Mirror body changes thread handing

Yeah the mirror pattern reverses climb milling and makes it conventional so reversing thread hand would be right in line with that, not a bug according to experts in other threads, just the way mirror works.

To retain all settings, I think you need to do circular pattern instead, using Z axis as center of rotation, 180 degrees angle, one instant, keep the original or something like that, just poke around until you like what you see.

And I guess you never want to conventionally mill the opposite hand?! So I vote this should be changed vs users having to work around it.
