Thanks Darthbane55! I have the program working like it should I believe, but when I post it's posting both C and A axis using the Doosan VMC post. When I post using the Fanuc 4th axis post I get an erro where it does the helical flats and spot drills. What post should I use for a Doosan mill? Update part attached

So I got handed this projec this afternoon by a sister shop. The parts are started but not complete. I have attached a photo of the stock. These parts have already had a couple operations and the stock comes from that. What they are wanting a program for is to machine the "edges", islands, and holes. They are going to drill holes in the back side of the stock and mount the stock on a rotary on a mill and rotate the part and machine the two sides, islands and holes. Some of this will take what I call rotary machining. Can Fusion 360 do that? What kind of path? I'll try to answer any questions as I know it's not real simple.

@utekcnc

Yes, Fusion can do those jobs easily, they look to be just simple holes/pockets/islands which will require the stock to be indexed to position for drilling holes and then the Pockets and Contours needed would have to be "wrapped" so that the 4th axis can rotate back and forth to cut the shape.

However, if you don`t already have one you will need to have a "paid subscription" version of Fusion 360 to do these type of operations, which would be "Wrap" and "Tool Orientation" needed for your job.

Picture below should get your started. Experiment, I think you'll figure it out. Your wrap cylinder must be a cylinder tho, it cannot be some spline, conical, anything other than cylinder. Not sure your part is a cylinder, it looks like a bent spline, but hard to really tell. Give it a shot!
