Hi -

Templates do not retain geometry references.

But, as it turns out, we are working on functionality that will do exactly what you describe. Look for that to start rolling out, in preview form, in an upcoming release.

Hello,

I'm starting to create my own toolpath templates, for example face milling rough and face milling finish

is there a way to keep the selected geometry saved somewhere in the program? I mean, I have to select the same geometry in both toolpaths, it seems to be a little weird, to many clicks

I'll give an example, there could be a "geometry" section on the part tree, then multiple toolpaths could be referenced to this geometry, when you change it, all toolpath get updated to the new selection. Another example, pocket milling, you can have a rough tool, rest milling tool, finishing tool.. having a mother geometry would be a huge time saving
