    <description>&lt;P&gt;I can only speak for the AutoCAD DWG format. There are&amp;nbsp;already programs that will read and write that format. So I even if you postulate Autodesk going away. You'd just have to switch to one of those other programs. I could also see a lot of others rushing in to fill the gap.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Besides. If anything like that did happen. They'd probably be classed as "too big to fail" and the government would bail them out.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Subject says it all I guess.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Will all your files be locked behind a glass&amp;nbsp;door? I mean you know where they are, nobody can steal them, but you just don’t have the key(Software) to open it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For the other formats it's not as easy. Especially the new CAM functionality has a problem with competitor compatibility.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That the US government will bail the company out in such a way that the rest of the world will be able to continue without a kick up is not really something we can take a decision on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

What files? Your DWG files? Easy, don't store your DWG files in the cloud.

And... bankrupt? They are FAR from that.
