Hide Selected in Viewport - Show all in Viewport

When using the Viewport Tools "Hide selected in Viewport" and "Show all in viewport" when using the tool in a viewport will affect other viewports.

This tool will ONLY work on Fabrication items and not on AutoCAD items such as blocks, lines, circles, etc....

That Makes sense, is there another way to hide things in a viewport that will work with other Non-Fabrication items?

Not that I know of without getting really creative, maybe hide the layer in that VP unless there is other equipment or blocks on that layer that you need.
