FabMEP crashes when using dimcontinue command

I am having a problem with Fabrication CadMep 2015 crashing in all drawings when using the DIMCONTINUE Command. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all Autodesk Software on my computer. Worked for a day and then the problem came back. It says the following:

In other instances, it will give me this error:

I cannot seem to find a fix for this. All the lastest SP's are installed.

The dimcontinue command is not a Fabrication command. What makes you think its related to Fabrication?

Using AutoCAD 2015 without FabMEP 2015 loaded, I do not have this problem.

Do you have defpoints or 0 locked?

I always lock 0-layer because that's the layer that I bring my x-refs in on. Defpoints not locked. I have had this happen on two seperate machines.

Create a -xref layer and use that.

Zero and defpoints should never be locked or used. These are layers that required by autocad.

This is basic Autocad 101

Layer 0 and Defpoints

Never use Defpoint

Layer 0

I am self taught. I may lack in Autocad 101. I read through the threads. Good information. I am going to take your advice and see if it's a fix. Will let you know.

Well, took your advice and created a new layer for x-refs. Nothing on -0-Layer and unlocked. Same problem persists. Going to attempt to copy all work to a new drawing and see if that helps.

Happens with every drawing. Tried to copy all work to a blank drawing but problem still persists.

Try not using Layer 0 for your Xref's and most of all DO NOT LOCK IT. CadMep relay's on it. The same holds true for Defpoints. The only reason to use Layer 0 is to make blocks other than that try not to use it.

Make a Layer called XREF's for your xref or if you want it at the top of your list of layer names use the Under score in layer name _Xref
