Help setting up part costs

Good morning, how are you? I'm practicing with Camduct to later apply it in my company. I have many doubts, and I'm not sure if there is any training available for the entire program because I see in the forums that it's quite extensive and complex.

My question is, I'm trying to get the program to give me the value of a piece based on the material cost and the weight of the piece, but when calculating the area, it calculates it incorrectly. I'm not sure if I activated or deactivated some option. In the images, I'll show you what I mean.

When designing the square piece, it gives me an area of 13.7 sq ft, but when it comes to costs, it calculates an area of 4.27 sq ft. I don't know how to configure the cost area in Camduct. If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.

What are the dimensions of your part? It looks like you duct is 10,000x10,000 inches by looking at your image. The length also looks extremely long. Are you trying to use metric sizes?
