topic Fabrication API setup in Fabrication CADmep Forum

Hi,

I have a question about the Fabrication API for CAMduct 2022. I'm simply trying to have CAMduct load the sample addins, but I can't locate the path it uses for the addin references. I read through the tutorial in the SDK folder. It says to add the given .addin file to the following path C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Fabrication\Addins\2017. I was able to get to the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk folder, but it did not contain the \Fabrication\Addins\2017. I tried adding that path and placing the xml file in there, but that did not help. CAMduct's "Add-ins" is still empty. Could anyone help me get it set up or point me to a resource that has documentation for the newer version of CAMduct?

Thank you in advance!

Nevermind, figured it out. I needed to create the given path and make sure to change 2017 to 2022, which is the year of the version I'm using. Once I put both the .dll and .addin file in there, CAMduct successfully loaded the "Hello Fabrication CSharp" addin.
