I have been trying to fix a database so ducts that are set to Auto length will be considered decoil straight, instead of machine cut. I have made several new specs to check it out, both with single dimension and dimension+length breakpoints, setting the std lengths to both 48" & 60". The duct draws the way I have it set in the specs, but when they are downloaded (from Revit), no matter how I have the specs set, if the ducts are under 60" they come out machine cut & 60" & over are all decoiled. It doesn't appear to have anything to do with the length. I thought if the duct was set to Auto, it would be downloaded as decoiled, but that is not the case. I have no idea what setting is controlling the decoil straight, so any help would be very appreciated.
