Just downloaded the new Revit 2022 with Fabrication Cad Mep Extension however when I go to load the parts on the systems tab - fabrication setting I only have Revit MEP Imperial content V2,2 and Revit MEP metric content V2. 2 available. Doe any body know how to get Metric Content V7.06 with all the services included like kitchen extract for example.

Thanks in advance

Matt

hi Matt

the standard fabrication database does not seem to have the metric and imperial content on version 2022 like previous versions on the fabrication software install.

you should be able to get this content by browsing to an older fabrication version(2021) and copy it in to the 2022 version folder.

The fab database can be found in c:\users\public\public documents\autodesk\fabrication...

there you should see the various standard database files which you can simply copy and paste in to the fabrication 2022 folder

Hope that helps

Mike

I usually run the Autodesk Fabrication Migration tool to get the database from one version to the next. It makes a copy for you in the process and you get to give it a name relating to 2022. I don't know what it else it actually does but seeing as they go to the trouble of making it, I figure it must be worth using!

The Autodesk Fabrication Migration Tool is installed with whichever Fab product you are using. e.g. You can find it in the Windows Start menu under Fabrication CAMduct 2022. The default location is "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Fabrication 2022\CAMduct\fabmigrate.exe"
