Craig,

I think we have all they set up as you described...I think the issue lies with how designline recognizes the size. If we place a 10"x20" line, it utilizes a S&D connection (which is not correct). However if we place a 20"x10" line it utilizes a TDF connection as it should. Designline seems to want to use that first dimension to decide what connection to use.

When putting in a cap using designline, it will use the wrong size to put in the endcap. We are using two options for our endcaps, anything 10" and below should be a slip and drive, anything above, should be a TDF.

If I run a 8"x14" line it will put in a slip and drive cap (which is wrong). However, if I run a 14"x8" line it will use a TDF.

Obviously designline is using the first size to define what type of cap to use. Is there anyway to correct this issue so anytime a 12" length or higher is used for either dimension, it will apply the correct TDF cap.

There are a few things you can do.

Right-click your button for the cap end and select button properties. Here you will see a dialogue for restricting its use based on size.

Set your specification to populate the connectors based on size. This way all duct 10" and below will default to S&D, everything above will be TDF.
