CAMduct import item (dxf) too simplified

So maybe someone knows this. I'm trying to import a DXF CAD file for my boss that is made up of splines. When I import it, CAMDuct simplifies the spline so that it looks jagged. Is there a setting somewhere where I can add more vertices or something so that the spline is curved?

I've tried playing with Database - Manufacturing - Tool Defaults - Options.... And nothing seems to fix this.

PS... why is there no CAMduct or ESTduct forum boards?

Make sure the geometry is close to 0,0 in CAD. You could try scaling it up or down and importing into CAM then re-scaling.

Also, breaking the geometry downinto lines/arcs before import into CAM may work better.

Is the file something you can post a sample of?
