If reloading your configuration doesn't solve it, you may need to delete, re-add them or do some API magic to make it happen.

Otherwise, try disconnecting the part, change it to another size, then back to the original size. That trick is sometimes needed in CADmep, may/may not work in Revit.

I'm starting to hear of a few things that do NOT get reloaded into Revit when you reload your config.

Does anyone know how to modify the existing Revit Fabrication parts? I have a part that I need to modify the default length to a standard length and save it with a new name. Sort of like you do a new Revit Family (.rfa)

iceman1849

Well your revit reads from your fabrication database, so just go into fabrication and edit it normally.

Jasonbayer7965,

I did that step and I was able to modify the length but when you tell it to optimize the length to the setting you edited, it automatically defaults back to the original setting.

Thanks

iceman1849
