Hanger Rod Size Filter

Is there a way to isolate/filter a specific rod size on hangers? I have a drawing that needs the different rod sizes split in to different layers and colors for total station layout. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't know of a built in way to filter them. Maybe someone else can chime in.

You can write a script to copy the hanger rod size to a field you can filter like Pallet or item number.

The below script copies the rod diameter to both item number and Pallet.

select item.Cid
case 838
dim rod=item.option["Drop Rod Diameter"].value
item.pallet=rod
item.number=rod
end select

How do i access the Script Editor? I apoligize i'm still somewhat new to Fabrication MEP.

Copy and paste the code I sent to a new Notepad file. Save the file with a ".cod" extension.

In Fabrication run the script with the EXECUTESCRIPT command.
