topic Reconnecting branch duct that have been copied or mirrored in Revit in Fabrication CADmep Forum

I am working in Revit. When I copy or mirror a branch duct, the duct louses it connectivity with the main. To fix it, I drag the grip on the tap back into the main until in intersects with the center line of the main, which reattaches it. This works for me every time. It didn't work for a couple of other guys. When they dragged the grip on the tap back towards the main, the tap would just flip 180 to the other side of the main. I tried on their computers with the same result. Any idea what is going on?

I've been playing around with it & figured it out myself. If the tap has a piece of pipe attached to it, it will drag back & attach to the main, if it is just a tap by itself, it wants to flip instead of attaching.
