Hi!

My problem is, that we are using welded connections for a pipe and fitting joints and for a pipe-pipe joints we are using couplings. And after, when the 3D modell finished, we are cutting the system for spools with coupling joints.

I can't place a grooved connectivity coupling in a welded pipe systems. I changed the coupling connectivity properties to welded,it joined, but in this case I can't see which end is grooved and which one need to be welded.

Can I add multiple connectivity properties? Or is it possible somehow, that when I place a cutting coupling in the pipe system, automaticaly change the pipe properties?

Does somebody know some solution?

Thank you very much in advance,

Andras

Unlock the Connectors in the pipe, when you are defining your spools use Takeoff As Cutin to place the coupling. This should change the connector on the pipe without error.

HI David!

Thank you very much for your fast answer, it works!

Do you know maybe, that how can I set to the design line for the pipe-pipe connection use couplings and for pipe-fittings use welded connections?

Thank you very much in advance,

Best regards,

Andras
