When I create a "taper bend seperate" based on (CID 848) , I got "invalid geometry" message if a set Bottom width equal to top width. The taper line does not adjust adjust automatically to fit the bend outer radius.

You realise that you posted this 3 times right? I understand your frustration with the difficulties in using CAMduct, it drives me f***ing crazy sometimes (or a lot). But understand that posting multiple times will confuse things if people reply to different threads.

In regards to your fitting, I just noticed that you want the downstream size larger than the upstream. I don't understand why you would need to do this (retrofit?), could you please clarify the purpose of this fitting?

Otherwise, you could shorten the length of the straight piece and add a transition after, not what you want but it will be quite similar.

EDIT - Try CID 1126. This seems to be what you're after.

Sorry for inconvenience . I am new in the forum. And that was by mistake. You would realize that the topic was set wrong in my second post, so I had to correct it in the third post. Regarding the question of the need of such an "unusual" item, the answer is simple. We just fabricate what is requested by the customer and do not question their profesionall decisions. We simply manufacture what is ordered. Anyway I will check the item # 1126. Thanks for the advise.

I have checked CID 1126. But the bottom width cannot divided. By default the bottom width is divided into equal parts.

I realise your new to the forum, so no worries.

Yes, now I understand your position I realise that qusetioning your client wouldn't win you any favors. I had another look at CID 1126 and under Options the first option is 'Same Widths' you can change this to no to fix that issue. You can then set the overall width and then control the width of the bend seperately.

Let me know if this works for you.
