Hello,

We have recently bought Autodesk Fabrication CAMduct 2016 English, International for our Ducting Factory in Doha, Qatar.We understand that there is a module for "Tracker"--bar coded parts tracking option to run along with CAMDuct software.

Fabrication CAMduct 2016 includes access to Fabrication CAMduct Components 2016, Fabrication Tracker 2016, and Fabrication RemoteEntry 2016

Fabrication Tracker 2016 software is a status update and bar code tracking product that provides visibility and transparency. Print labels with bar codes that can be scanned and updated throughout the job to provide clients with real time work tracking. Fabrication Tracker provides direct benefit to the manufacturer, providing progress updates that can support payment applications. Use Fabrication Tracker to help deliver a solid case for proportional payment by showing the client exactly what has been manufactured, delivered, or installed to date

You are kindly requested to guide us how to install & configure this "Fabrication Tracker" module.

Have you requested help from your local reseller to get this working?

If they can't help, or if you want to do it yourself, the Tracker Help file has been recently updated so you might get some usefull information there, it is a bit vague but at least it will get you started.

See if it helps, then come back with specific questions if you get stuck and someone here might be able to assist.

Hi, we trying configure with help file , however when we are trying import .SIF file by clicking “Utilities> Import Statuses”. This tab is not active in our software.

Please assist.

I have attached step by step procedure we followed using help files.

The .sif file can be imported from the initial start screen in CAMduct 2016, under "Actions" you will find "Import Statuses"

See screen capture below.

The Help file you are referencing looks like it is still refering to the original "Trackit" program and hasn't been updated to reflect the changes made since it became "Tracker".

Also if you are running Tracker on the same network as your CAMduct program you don't need to import a .sif file, simply configure Tracker to share the same database and it will update the statuses directly.

Thank you Lance. we tried but it doesnt shows up statuses. Same screen appear!

Lance, after scanning the import data shows status changed message as per attatched screen shot. We are not getting the print preview for the scanned data.KIndly,advice.
