Just noticed that same problem occurs when going from version 2016 to version 2016. There is no way to import an mtt file as a fab table instead of a instalation labor table.

So I export my fab tables in ESTmep 2015 as a .mtt file then when I go to import them as an .mtt in ESTmep2016 the only way to get them in is as a install table. This is not going to work.

I can confirm that I have your same issue with trying to import a *.mtt file containing fabrication times; will only import as installation times.

In 2016 just use the defualt *.iox file format; it will allow fabrication times to be exported & imported.
