In the TDC connector have you looked into its Breakpoint settings? This should get you the 1.5" you are looking for. Can we see how you have the itm and connectors setup?

Nate

Hey guys,

I've been trying to dial in our duct database all week and there's one thing that is bugging me that I thought I had figured out.

We only do TDF and S&D connectors and on offsets/transitions TDF gets a 1-1/2" extension where S&D gets 0". This isn't a problem unless you are transitioning from TDF to S&D (i.e. one side TDF, one side S&D) then you have to make sure the TDF side has the 1-1/2" extension and the S&D side has 0". This is quite the pain. I thought I solved this by editing the connector 'Straight' setting to 1.5 on TDF and 0 on S&D. It looks great when modeling and seems to be doing exactly what I would like it to, the only problem is (the sheet metal guys tell me now) is that it does not put the notch in so they can break it (see attached photos for the difference between setting the connector at 1.5" straight with 0 extension and 0 straight with 1.5" extension. Is there a setting I'm missing where I can have it put in the notch so I don't have to keep manually inputting the ext? Let me know if this makes any sense at all. Thanks in advance!

Zach
