Fabrication items in Navis Manage / Simulate

I have 2 questions about this subject.

1) I was under the impression that the order we load the software was important because Fabrication was loading "enablers" into Navis products as we install Fabrication CADmep? Am I wrong?

2) How do I fix this issue with Navis not displaying the items from Fabrication correctly. We only use Fabrication for Sheetmetal, so the MEP stuff (piping and electrical) are displaying correctly. I did run both a "repair" and "reinstall" from control panel but that didn't work. Do I need to uninstall the software and reinstall from scratch? If this is actually the problem.

Try changing the file DWG version in your Navis Options to something previous the version you're using. When we use 2016, we set that version to 2013 DWG. For 2014 Navis, we set it to 2010 DWG.

That didn't work either, I know yesterday we tried 2016, 2015, 2014 then just now I tried 2013 with no luck. All the Fabrication items display as 2D Wireframe boxes and when you highlight and go look in Properties it says it's a 'Proxy_Object'.

We have tried several different options in Navis like changing from Auto-Render to Shaded and some of the check boxes in the DWG loader section.

It is my understanding, outside contractors need the enabler in Navis to see our items. Unless an NWD is made. We are trying to direct load a DWG.

Thanks anyway Josh. I will uninstall and reinstall the software sometime today and see if that helps. I didn't load the software on his machine so I'm not sure of the process they used. I have a certain order that I load each piece to the puzzle:

1) AutoCAD MEP

2) Navis - Manage and Simulate

3) Navis Freedom

4) Fabrication

5) Point Layout
