    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply.&amp;nbsp; I've been down that road but found the parameter values confusing.&amp;nbsp; After taking another look at it, I'm realizing that the data is there but it's natively in Centimeters.&amp;nbsp; Time to apply math.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for your help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Getting basic data from Tube &amp; Pipe ComponentOccurrences</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm looking to get Length, Size, ID, OD, and other basic Piping data from Tube and Pipe placed components.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At the moment, I'm doing backflips to extract some of this data from the AttributeSets of the ComponentDefinitions.&amp;nbsp; In that data, I have to dig even deeper into the Member attribute's xml to get coordinate data of the endpoints.&amp;nbsp; It's far more difficult than extracting AutoCAD or Revit element data.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm wondering if there is a better way.&amp;nbsp; Any help is appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would think all this info is available in the parameters of each segment pipe document&amp;nbsp; as these parameters use this information&amp;nbsp; to create the file. Is this the information you want to retrieve? It might be a bit of a headache if all parameters are not named the same but hopefully not too many are like this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Here is a &lt;A href="https://modthemachine.typepad.com/my_weblog/2017/04/units-and-parameters-in-inventor.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;post&lt;/A&gt; that works with units of measure. It might be useful if you having varying units in your documents and parameters and want to detect what is being used.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
