Hey I am new to this forum aswell and basicly looking for the same kind of information. As a Ph.D. student I would like publish a .stl file created with an educational license for research purposes in a research oriented peer reviewed scientific journal. Since this journal is open access, I would like to use a non-commercial creative commens license for the file. After reading the LICENSE AND SERVICES AGREEMENT I assume this should be legal, since this file will only be promoted in a research context. Yet, I am wondering wether or not I am reliable if somebody else would try to use this commercially after publishing my paper.

I'm a lecturer in Kyoto University. I'm doing a research project using Inventor (student/academic version). Is it OK for publishing a scientific paper using Inventor academic/student version?
