Hi,

I am trying to export a 3d sketch to xy-coordinates, and i have the macro to do that.

The problem is that with splines it only takes the point were you actually click, so it does not take the curve into account. Is there a way of automatically ading points (possibly macro) that will add points onto a line with an even distribution/ varying numbr of points on the line?

Thanks

You can place a workpoint at the start of the curve and do a rectangular pattern (number of points as needed) along the curve length.

Other method could be using an equal distance between points of pattern.

Hey,

thanks for that, but is there any way to have a line interval joining all these points? i can get the work points to work with the pattern, but they dont show in the macro, only end points of lines show, so i need a load of lines connetcing these points.

Cheers
