It’s us who made them money.
It is “us” who filled out the pages of the sites for which we pay a subscription.
Without us, they would never have earned a penny.
And today, they flee their responsibility to follow everything that has been written freely.

It’s a huge lack of respect for knowledge sharing.
Do they really have no obligation to archive?

Let’s imagine that Victor Hugo wrote on Typepad, one could no longer read 'les misérables'? forever?

Typepad is gone, yes. But I am told that much, perhaps even all, of the content in Autodesk blogs that were hosted on Typepad has been migrated, and a new platform is being built. I don't know when we can expect a launch, but I think that is good news.

I had the opportunity to check that for Kean Walmsley it’s true that he had time to migrate his data (very instructive), a big thank you to this great gentleman.
But many other sites have died.
If what you mention is true, yes, it’s good news!
