Hi,

>> Autocad 2018

Which service pack? Start command _ABOUT and show as a screenshot from that dialog.

>> it crashes not only a particular file.

If it's specific to one file then run command _AUDIT or _RECOVER to find/repair errors in the drawing database (if there are any).

Or run command _WBLOCK with option "Entire drawing" ... then start with the new drawing created now and see if the issue is the same.

If nothing helps then you might upload the file so we can test it on our systems ... and please describe step-by-step what exactly need to be done to make AutoCAD crashing.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you please detail what your system looks like?

OS version

AutoCAD Version (and updates/hotfixes installed)

Graphics card make and model

Has AutoCAD just started this behavior or is this a new install? If it just started can you tell me what might have changed in your environment?

Have you checked to see if there is a more current graphics driver?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
