    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have set of random points in the workspace as shown in the figure. I want to automatically dimension those points (Linear dimension only) in the best possible way by using any programming language as shown in the right image (for example).       <description>&lt;P&gt;You may be able to use &lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;QDIM&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;, which will give you more dimensions than you want, but it could well be quicker to use it and delete some, and adjust the definition points and/or dimension line locations for some of those that you keep, than to do them all individually.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
